Hello, my name is Sharon Townsend and you are a very welcome visitor to my web site.
You do not have to be artistic to learn the various painting techniques that I teach. The only requirement is the ability to hold a pen and write your own name! My classes are small and therefore friendly (usually 6 maximum) which enables me to give lots of individual hands on attention. I teach by demonstrating, instructing and observing my pupil's brush strokes.
When I am demonstrating at various events, I always hear the comment ‘I could never learn to paint like that' – you will see from the examples of my pupils that I have proved every one of them wrong! All you need is the desire to learn, willingness to practice and a positive attitude to see a mistake as a learning opportunity!
